Find the Right Fit for Little Ones

Choosing the right size online should feel simple.

3. How to Measure

If measurements are provided for a product, use a soft measuring tape and measure the child comfortably without pulling the tape too tightly.

Height

Measure from the top of the head to the floor while the child is standing naturally.

Keep the child standing straight and, where possible, measure without shoes.

Chest

Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of the chest.

Keep the tape level and comfortably snug without tightening it.

Waist

Measure around the natural waistline.

Keep the tape comfortable rather than tight.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.

Keep the tape level around the body.

Inseam

For bottoms where inseam information is provided, measure from the inside of the leg down to the desired hem or ankle area.

4. Choosing Between Two Sizes

If a child falls between two available sizes, consider:

  • The child's current measurements

  • The product's specific size chart

  • The intended fit

  • Whether the material has stretch

  • Whether the product is designed to fit closely or loosely

  • How quickly the child is growing
